Job Overview
Octagon Enterprises is seeking a dynamic and result-driven Business Development Executive/Manager with experience in the tower crane / construction equipment industry. The candidate will be responsible for generating leads, visiting clients, and securing rental orders for tower cranes.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the construction and infrastructure sector
- Conduct regular client visits to construction sites, builders, contractors, and developers
- Promote and market Octagon Enterprises' tower crane rental services
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients
- Understand client requirements and recommend suitable crane solutions
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and close rental deals
- Coordinate with operations team for smooth execution of orders
- Maintain a database of prospective and existing clients
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Track market trends, competitor activities, and upcoming projects
Requirements
- Proven experience in tower crane / heavy equipment rental industry (preferred)
- Strong understanding of tower crane operations, specifications, and applications
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Willingness to travel extensively for client meetings and site visits
- Ability to generate leads and convert them into business
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and proactive approach
- Basic knowledge of MS Office / CRM tools
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
- Diploma/experience in construction or mechanical field is an added advantage
Experience
- Minimum 3–10 years in B2B sales / business development
- Experience in tower crane industry is highly preferred
