Job Overview:We’re seeking a dynamic and results-driven B2B Business Development Executive/Manager to lead our efforts in expanding our client base, driving business growth, and maintaining strong relationships with our existing clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing key accounts. This role requires candidates with strong communication skills, and a deep understanding of the survival systems industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Acquisition:
- Identify and pursue new B2B business opportunities to expand SSI's client portfolio.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline through targeted outreach, networking, and industry insights.
- Arrange and conduct high-quality meetings—virtual or in-person—with prospective clients to present solutions.
Account Management:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
- Serve as the primary point of contact, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
- Work closely with clients to understand their training needs and advise tailored solutions as required.
- Conduct regular follow-ups with clients to gather feedback and identify opportunities for improvement.
Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed annual targets.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to refine sales approaches.
Business Development:
- Engage with senior decision-makers across industries to explore partnerships and strategic business opportunities.
- Represent SSI at relevant industry forums, conferences, and events to enhance visibility and generate leads (selective, not frequent).
- Maintain strong domain knowledge of survival training, safety operations, and associated industries.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare and present regular sales reports, including performance metrics, client interactions, revenue forecasts, and market insights.
- Use data-driven insights to enhance sales processes and strengthen business development efforts.
Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in the Survival Training, Marine or related industry.
- Ability to travel frequently to meet with clients and visit various locations.
- Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
