Role Overview 

Tech AI Magazine is looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive (Sales) to drive partnerships, sponsorships, and promotional deals. In this remote role, you will be responsible for identifying potential clients, pitching magazine features and promotional packages, and closing high-value deals. 

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a performance-driven sales environment and understands the value of media visibility in the AI and tech ecosystem. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

Lead Generation & Prospecting 

  • Identify and reach out to startups, AI companies, educational institutions, and tech organizations  
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of potential clients for magazine features and promotional packages  
  • Leverage LinkedIn, email outreach, and networking to generate leads  

Sales & Deal Closure 

  • Pitch Tech AI Magazine’s promotional offerings, including featured articles, interviews, and branding packages  
  • Customize proposals based on client needs and objectives  
  • Negotiate and close deals efficiently to meet and exceed revenue targets  

Client Relationship Management 

  • Build long-term relationships with clients to ensure repeat business  
  • Act as the primary point of contact throughout the sales cycle  
  • Ensure a smooth handover to the editorial/content team post-sale  

Market Intelligence 

  • Stay updated on trends in AI, startups, and tech media  
  • Identify new market opportunities and emerging client segments  
  • Provide feedback to refine pricing, packaging, and positioning  

CRM & Reporting 

  • Maintain accurate records of leads, deals, and communications  
  • Track sales performance and pipeline progress  
  • Submit regular reports on revenue, conversions, and outreach activity  

 

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field  
  • Minimum 1-2 year of experience in sales, business development, media sales, or sponsorship sales  
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills  
  • Experience with CRM tools or sales tracking systems is an advantage  
  • Self-driven, target-oriented, and comfortable working remotely
