Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Business Development Executive – Home Interiors, based in the Pune Division. The role involves identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, generating and nurturing leads through online and offline channels, and converting inquiries into confirmed interior design projects. The Business Development Executive will meet prospective clients, understand their requirements, present suitable design and execution solutions, and coordinate with the design team to create proposals and quotations. Daily responsibilities include managing and updating the sales pipeline, maintaining relationships with existing and past clients, and supporting marketing initiatives such as events, partnerships, and social media campaigns. The role also requires regular market research, competitor analysis, and reporting on key business development metrics to management.
Qualifications
- Proven skills in New Business Development and Lead Generation, with experience converting prospects into paying clients.
- Strong Business and Account Management capabilities, including pipeline management, client retention, and up-selling or cross-selling services.
- Excellent Communication skills, with the ability to present design solutions clearly and build trust with diverse client profiles.
- Experience or strong interest in home interiors, architecture, or related design services; prior experience in interior design or real estate sales is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site, conduct client visits across Pune, and manage multiple leads and projects simultaneously.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Comfort with basic CRM tools, spreadsheets, and online lead platforms; familiarity with social media and digital marketing is a plus.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and collaborative, with a focus on high-quality client experience and ethical sales practices.
