Working closely with architects and interior designers, the company delivers customized, high-quality lighting solutions for residential and commercial spaces, with a strong focus on design, functionality, and client experience.
The Role:
This role focuses on driving project-based sales by engaging with architects, interior designers, and clients to understand their requirements and propose tailored lighting solutions. The candidate will manage the complete sales cycle from inquiry to closure while ensuring a seamless client experience. The role requires strong relationship-building, follow-ups, and a consultative selling approach.
Key responsibilities:
1.Client Handling & Experience
Ensure smooth communication with clients and architects from first meeting to order closure
Understand client needs clearly and handle queries or concerns professionally
Maintain a positive and premium client experience throughout
2.Site Visits & Coordination
Visit project sites to understand requirements and practical needs
Coordinate with internal team and electricians for smooth execution
Ensure client expectations are properly communicated to the team
3.Internal Coordination
Work closely with quotation and operations team for timely proposals and updates
Share clear project requirements with the team
Support in resolving any project-related issues
4.Sales Tracking & Reporting
Maintain proper record of leads, meetings, and follow-ups
Update sales pipeline regularly
Share weekly updates on progress, closures, and challenges
5.Upselling & Relationship Building
Identify opportunities to suggest better or premium lighting solutions
Build long-term relationships with clients and architects
Generate repeat business and referrals
6.Ownership & Discipline
Take ownership of sales targets and client relationships
Ensure timely follow-ups without reminders
Represent the company professionally at all times
Required qualification and skills:
Graduate in any discipline - Architecture / Interior Design / Commerce/ Civil Engineering/ Electrical/ related technical fields preferred, MBA is advantage
0–2 years of experience in sales (preferably interior / lighting / construction / related field)
Ability to understand design/aesthetic requirements
Willingness to do field visits and client meetings
Existing network of architects or designers in Ahmedabad is a strong advantage
Excellent communication, presentation
and interpersonal skills
