About the Job:
We are looking for a 'Business Development Executive - eCommerce Seller Onboarding' who will be responsible for identifying and onboarding sellers onto leading eCommerce platforms such as Amazon, Etsy, and eBay. The role involves meeting potential sellers, understanding their business, and helping them successfully start and grow their online presence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and approach potential sellers (retailers, manufacturers, wholesalers, D2C brands) in assigned territories.
- Conduct field visits to meet prospective clients and explain onboarding processes on platforms like Amazon, Etsy, and eBay
- Educate sellers on product listing, pricing strategies, catalog management, and order processing
- Assist sellers in completing documentation and registration processes
- Build and maintain strong relationships with newly onboarded sellers
- Ensure smooth onboarding and activation of seller accounts
- Achieve monthly/quarterly onboarding and revenue targets
- Coordinate with internal teams for onboarding, KYC, and account activation.
Other Requirements:
1. 0–2 years of experience in field sales, business development, or seller onboarding.
2. Freshers who are keen to start their career in the e-commerce domain are also encouraged to apply (graduates or MBA).
3. Prior experience working with e-commerce platforms such as Amazon, Etsy, or eBay is highly preferred.
4. Comfortable with fieldwork and traveling within the city.
