Overview
As a Business Development Executive focused on CYBE Certification Programs and College Outreach, you will be responsible for driving the growth of our certification offerings within the higher education sector. Your primary objective will be to establish and nurture relationships with colleges and universities, promote our innovative programs, and ultimately increase enrollment and partnerships. You will serve as the key liaison between educational institutions and our organization, ensuring alignment with their goals and our certification standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and target potential colleges and universities for partnership opportunities related to CYBE certification programs.
- Develop and implement strategic outreach plans to engage academic leaders and decision-makers.
- Conduct presentations and informational sessions to showcase the value of our certification programs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with educational institutions to foster long-term partnerships.
- Collaborate with marketing and program development teams to tailor offerings to meet the needs of colleges.
- Track and report on outreach activities, pipeline progress, and partnership outcomes using CRM tools.
- Exceed sales targets through effective negotiation, closing techniques, and ongoing relationship management.
- Participate in industry events, conferences, and fairs to promote our programs and network with key stakeholders.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in CRM software for managing sales pipelines and tracking outreach efforts.
- Strong understanding of online and offline marketing strategies tailored for the education sector.
- Familiarity with data analysis tools for measuring the success of outreach campaigns and partnerships.
- Ability to utilize presentation software effectively for stakeholder engagement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably within the education technology sector.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing successful partnerships with educational institutions.
Skills & Experience
- Strong sales acumen and the ability to articulate the value proposition of educational programs.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a natural ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
- Background in edtech sales is highly desirable, with a solid understanding of the current trends and challenges in the education sector.
- Experience with college outreach and knowledge of the academic landscape to effectively engage with decision-makers.
