Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive Business Development Executive (Bidding Specialist) with hands-on experience in platforms like Upwork, Freelancer, PeoplePerHour (PPH), and other bidding portals. The candidate will be responsible for generating business opportunities through online bidding, client communication, and deal closures.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and bid on relevant projects on Upwork, Freelancer, PPH, and similar platforms
- Craft customized and high-converting proposals based on client requirements
- Understand project scope and communicate effectively with potential clients
- Handle client queries, negotiations, and follow-ups
- Convert leads into business opportunities and close deals
- Maintain and update records of bids, responses, and conversions
- Collaborate with internal teams for project understanding and delivery
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships
- Track bidding performance and improve win rate strategies
Key Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in bidding on Upwork, Freelancer, PPH, or similar platforms
- Strong English communication (written & verbal)
- Experience in proposal writing and client handling
- Good understanding of IT services and project requirements
- Strong negotiation and closing skills
- Ability to work in a target-driven environment
