Company Description LeadsConnect Services Pvt. The company leverages machine learning and satellite remote sensing to deliver solutions such as crop health monitoring, acreage and yield estimation, and risk and claim management for central and state agencies, insurers, and reinsurers. It executes large-scale projects, including CCE monitoring for PMFBY in over 100 districts and geotagging of agricultural infrastructure in 125 districts across India. LeadsConnect is expanding into banking services, insurance distribution, and market linkages to provide accessible finance and consistent market access for farmers, FPOs, and FPCs. The organization actively collaborates with processors, manufacturers, and commodity aggregators to build a sustainable and profitable agri-business ecosystem.
Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Executive (BDE) role based in different districts of UP. The BDE will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities within the agritech, financial services, and allied domains, including outreach to farmers, FPOs, FPCs, financial institutions, and corporate partners. Daily activities include lead generation through calls, meetings, field visits, networking events, and digital channels, as well as qualifying prospects and maintaining a robust sales pipeline. The BDE will also manage key accounts, ensure client satisfaction, coordinate with internal technical and operations teams for project delivery, and provide regular reporting and market feedback to support business strategy.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in New Business Development and Lead Generation, with a track record of building and converting a qualified sales pipeline in Agri Banking and MSME Financing.
- Ability to understand and articulate business needs, with exposure to agritech, analytics, financial services, or related business environments.
- Excellent Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement.
- Experience in Account Management, including relationship-building, retention, cross-selling, and up-selling to existing clients or partners.
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Business Management, Science, Commerce, or a related field; MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
- Comfort with on-ground fieldwork, travel within the region, and interaction with diverse stakeholders such as farmers, institutional clients, and government agencies.
- Proficiency with CRM tools, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and basic sales reporting and forecasting.
