Role Description This is a full-time, hybrid Business Development Executive role based in Mumbai, with flexibility for some work-from-home days. The Business Development Executive will identify and qualify new business opportunities, build and manage a pipeline of prospective clients, and conduct outreach through calls, emails, and meetings. Responsibilities include understanding customer sourcing needs, presenting Yral Hub’s value proposition, and converting leads into long-term business relationships. The role will also involve managing key accounts, coordinating with internal teams (operations, product, and support) to ensure smooth onboarding and order fulfillment, and tracking performance against sales targets. The Executive will regularly analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and customer feedback to suggest improvements and support overall business growth.
Qualifications
- Strong New Business Development and Lead Generation skills, with experience identifying, qualifying, and closing B2B opportunities.
- Solid Account Management and Business relationship-building skills to nurture, retain, and grow customer accounts.
- Excellent Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication, active listening, and professional presentation abilities.
- Prior experience in ecommerce, B2B marketplaces, or sourcing/supply-chain environments is highly beneficial.
- Comfort working in a target-driven environment, with strong negotiation, problem-solving, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Ability to work in a hybrid setup in Mumbai, manage time effectively, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field (or equivalent relevant experience).
