We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Executive with 4–5 years of
experience in sales and business development within the automotive sector. The ideal candidate
will bring a blend of experience from both startups and multinational corporations (MNCs),
offering agility, innovation, and structured execution capabilities.
This role involves identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and
driving revenue growth across automotive products or services. The candidate should possess
strong market insight, customer relationship skills, and the ability to thrive in fast-paced,
evolving environments.
Job Responsibilities
The role will be focused on two main fronts.
1) Key Account management for existing customers, this includes
a) Building strong relationships with customer stakeholders
b) SPoC for all communication with Virya
c) Understanding customer products, operations and vision to help build strategy to grow
customer revenue
2) Business development, planning and strategy. This includes

JOB DESCRIPTION
a) Market research on finding product-market fit for existing products and inputs for future products
b) Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
c) To work with internal teams to develop business plans and strategies to achieve business goals.
d) Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure
e) Sales support including developing sales materials and presentations and providing market insights.
f) Representing the company at industry events and conferences
g) Performance tracking of business development efforts and making recommendations for improvement where necessary.
h) Customer, Contract Management and Price Negotiations
i) Handling enquiries on Powertrain, along with EV accessories.
Experience
4-5 years in sales, business development or technical sales.
Great to have had an entrepreneurial background.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Experience working in/with both startup and MNC environments
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and complex sales cycles
Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
Educational Requirement
Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred). Good technical know-how of EV powertrains preferred.
