Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Chennai for a Business Development Executive. In this role, you will identify and pursue new business opportunities, generate and nurture leads.
Lead generation & prospecting
Identify and qualify potential clients through cold outreach, networking, referrals, and digital research. Build a strong and consistent pipeline.
Pitch & proposal creation
Prepare customized agency proposals and pitch decks tailored to each prospect's marketing goals and budget.
Client acquisition & onboarding
Own the end-to-end sales cycle — from first conversation to signed contract — and ensure smooth handoff to the delivery team.
Revenue target ownership
Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets. Track performance against KPIs and report progress to leadership.
Market & industry mapping
Stay on top of competitor agencies, emerging brand needs, and industry trends to identify new service opportunities and untapped verticals.
Relationship management
Maintain strong, ongoing relationships with existing and prospective clients to drive repeat business, upsells, and referrals.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in New Business Development and Lead Generation
- Strong skills in Business operations, strategy, and growth planning
- Exceptional Communication skills, including negotiation and presentation
- Experience in Account Management and maintaining client relationships
- Ability to analyze market trends and devise strategic business approaches
- Proactive, goal-oriented mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience in marketing or advertising is a plus
