Role Description
We are looking for a highly energetic and execution-focused Business Development Executive (BDE) with around 2 years of experience in SaaS, software, digital solutions, CRM, automation, or B2B sales.
This role is not only about generating leads.
Your primary responsibility is to qualify opportunities, drive buyer conversations, follow up consistently, manage deal momentum, and ensure no opportunity goes cold after a demo.
You will work closely with the Founder and sales team to move opportunities from first interaction → discovery → demo → follow-up → closure readiness.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Qualification & Discovery
- Handle inbound leads and outbound opportunities
- Understand customer business challenges and WhatsApp communication needs
- Qualify leads based on business fit, urgency, use case, and readiness
- Ask the right questions to understand:
Sales process
Customer support workflow
Lead management challenges
Follow-up gaps
WhatsApp automation requirements
2. Opportunity Management
- Own opportunities from first conversation until closure readiness
- Maintain CRM hygiene and opportunity tracking
- Ensure every prospect has clear next steps
- Prevent deal stagnation through structured follow-ups
3. Demo Coordination & Follow-ups
- Coordinate product demos with the Founder/team
- Capture buyer concerns, objections, and requirements
- Follow up consistently after demos
- Ensure buyer questions are addressed quickly
- Keep opportunities active and moving forward
4. Outbound Business Development
Reach out to potential businesses through:
- LinkedIn
- WhatsApp
- Calls
- Email
Generate qualified meetings with relevant businesses
5. Relationship Building
- Build trust with prospects
- Understand stakeholder expectations
- Maintain regular communication throughout the sales cycle
Ideal Candidate Profile
We are looking for someone who:
✅ Has 1.5–3 years of B2B sales/business development experience
✅ Has experience in SaaS, software, CRM, automation, digital marketing, IT services, or tech sales
✅ Is confident in English + Tamil/Hindi communication
✅ Is comfortable speaking to business owners, founders, and decision-makers
✅ Is disciplined with follow-ups and CRM updates
✅ Has strong listening and questioning skills
✅ Understands consultative selling (not pushy selling)
