About the Opportunity
Truelance Recruitment Ltd is partnering with a fast-growing UK-based career accelerator in the technology education space. Our client supports students, job seekers, and early-career professionals in transitioning into tech through structured, hands-on programmes in areas such as data science, software development, cyber security, and cloud engineering.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Executive to join our client’s remote team on a full-time basis. This is a consultative sales role where you will engage prospective learners, understand their career ambitions, and guide them toward suitable training programmes.
You will act as both a trusted advisor and a results-driven sales professional, helping individuals make impactful decisions about their future careers.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct targeted outbound calling campaigns and email outreach to engage prospective students
- Understand individual career goals and recommend appropriate programmes
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through to enrolment
- Provide detailed information on programme offerings, pricing, and outcomes
- Build strong relationships and maintain trust throughout the decision-making process
- Meet and exceed monthly sales and enrolment targets
- Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline activity
- Collaborate with marketing and internal teams to improve lead generation and conversion
Requirements
- 1–2 years of sales experience within the EdTech sector (courses, bootcamps, or training programmes)
- Strong understanding of data analysis, digital marketing, or professional development industries
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Proven track record of managing pipelines and closing deals
- Experience using CRM systems to manage leads and customer interactions
