Business Development Executive (BDE)
As a Business Development Executive, you will play a vital role in driving company growth by identifying business opportunities, generating leads, and closing projects through strategic communication and relationship-building. This position requires a blend of technical understanding, functional knowledge, and strong sales acumen to engage effectively with prospects and clients. You will work closely with the marketing, pre-sales, and technical teams to achieve revenue goals and expand the client base.
Responsibilities
You will be working as a Business Development Executive, actively contributing to lead generation, client communication, and project acquisition across global markets. You would be required to participate in sales strategy discussions, client meetings, and proposal drafting. Your key responsibilities will include:
Generating qualified leads through all the outbound channels, including but not limited to Social Media, Directories, Industry Events, Direct Researched Outreach and more.
Identifying and pursuing business opportunities across a variety of technologies and digital solutions.
Conducting technical and functional requirement analysis to align client needs with company capabilities.
Preparing business proposals, quotations, and project documentation for potential clients.
Managing inbound leads effectively and nurturing them through the sales funnel.
Collaborating with technical and marketing teams to deliver customised business solutions.
Maintaining accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and progress reports.
Conducting market research to identify trends, competitors, and potential clients.
Managing client communications across different time zones and ensuring timely follow-ups.
Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications
Primary Skills
4+ Years of proven experience as a Business Development Executive or Sales Professional in the IT industry.
Demonstrable success in lead generation, client acquisition, and deal closure for technology-based projects.
Strong technical understanding to communicate effectively with clients regarding software, web, and digital solutions.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong negotiation and presentation abilities.
Proficiency in preparing quotes, proposals, and sales documentation.
Experience in handling inbound leads and converting them into long-term clients.
Comfortable working with productivity tools like MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Highly motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently under pressure.
Secondary Skills
Experience using CRM systems for lead tracking and pipeline management.
Familiarity with sales automation and email outreach tools.
Understanding of digital marketing and IT service offerings.
Ability to coordinate with global clients and handle meetings in various time zones.
