The Role
We're hiring a Business Development Executive to help us & our clients reach more founders and CXOs through LinkedIn. You'll be the person who identifies high-quality prospects, starts genuine conversations with them, nurtures the warm ones, and hands them to the sales team at exactly the right moment.
Put simply, you bring new business into the pipeline.
What you'll do
- Prospect research, the quality over quantity part. You'll research and shortlist founders and CXOs who are a strong fit, and you'll evaluate each company honestly for affordability, need, and brand relevance. Low-fit leads waste everyone's time, so a big part of the job is knowing who not to chase. This role rewards precise targeting, not raw volume.
- LinkedIn outreach execution. You'll build and manage outreach campaigns, send one thoughtful opening message followed by four well-timed follow-ups, and track every conversation like a system rather than a guessing game. The goal is never to "send messages." The goal is to create replies.
- A/B testing and continuous improvement. You'll test different scripts and angles, compare the results, and refine your messaging week over week. If you love metrics and iteration, this part will keep you engaged.
- Tools and tracking. You'll work with Apollo and AI platforms to build prospect lists, use trackers to document daily progress, and keep a clean pipeline so no lead ever slips through.
- Lead handover. Once a lead is warm, you'll coordinate internally, hand it to the sales team with full context, and maintain continuity so the momentum carries through.
How we measure success
Not by how many messages you sent. Success here looks like more replies from the right prospects, higher conversation-to-call conversions, sharper targeting and lead quality, and scripts that genuinely improve month over month.
What we're looking for
You'll do well here if you write and communicate clearly, sounding human, getting to the point, and never sounding like a template. You should know LinkedIn well enough to understand its culture and how people actually respond on it.
We're looking for someone with a real research instinct, the kind of person who studies and shortlists before they ever reach out. Outreach rewards quiet, boring consistency, so discipline matters more than bursts of motivation. You should be comfortable with tools like Apollo, spreadsheets, and AI assistants, and you should be genuinely hungry to learn the craft of sales, persuasion, and conversion.
Bonus points if
You've done outreach before, whether on LinkedIn, cold DM, or cold email. You enjoy testing scripts and improving performance. You can handle rejection without losing energy. And you feel naturally confident speaking with founders.
This role is not for you if
You dread follow-ups, take rejection personally, dislike tracking and systems, want a loosely defined "creative sales" role with no structure, or struggle to stay consistent.
