The Role
As a Business Development Executive, you will be the face of Techzo, responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities and managing the end-to-end sales cycle. You will act as a results-driven professional, leveraging your expertise in IT product promotion and digital marketing to enhance brand visibility and solve critical infrastructure challenges for our clients. Skilled in developing and executing marketing strategies, building strong client relationships, and achieving sales targets within competitive markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation & Marketing: Proactively identify and qualify new business prospects through cold calling, networking, LinkedIn outreach, and digital marketing strategies.
- Sales Lifecycle Management: Manage the full sales funnel—from initial discovery calls and technical presentations to negotiation and final closure.
- Consultative Selling: Understand client pain points in data security and cloud infrastructure to propose Techzo’s specific service offerings.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain a strong client network to ensure repeat business, referrals, and long-term account growth through upselling and cross-selling.
- Client Engagement & Field sales: Ability to travel extensively to client locations, both within Bengaluru and across India, to deliver high-impact product demonstrations and technical presentations that align our IT solutions with prospective business needs.
- Technical Demonstrations: Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams to coordinate product demonstrations and Proof of Concepts (PoC) for prospective clients.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay ahead in competitive markets.
- CRM Hygiene: Maintain meticulous records of all interactions and deal progress in CRM tools and MS Office Suite to ensure accurate revenue forecasting.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 3–5 years of proven experience in B2B Sales, preferably within IT Services.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree Engineering, CS, or IT is considered a strong advantage . Additional certifications in Digital Marketing or Sales are preferred.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English and verbal communication skills in Hindi is must required, proficiency in Regional languages is an advantage.
- Technical Skills: A solid understanding of cyber security,cloud services, data security, or general IT infrastructure; comfortable "talking tech" with decision-makers.
- Soft Skills: Strong negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills with a results-oriented mindset.
- Tools: Proficiency in CRM platforms (specifically Zoho) and MS Office Suite
