The Role
We are seeking dynamic Business Development Professionals for a 5-day-a-week hybrid model (1 day of field scouting and 4 days of office/meetings, with occasional Saturdays required for meetings). This role is designed for a high-energy "hunter" who can identify new business opportunities, build elite relationships, and achieve targets. You will be responsible for the full sales cycle, from scouting new leads to closing high-value deals with architects, developers, and hotel brands.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead Generation and Field Scouting
- Strategic Site Scouting: Visit upcoming high-value construction sites (hotels, hospitals, schools, and luxury homes) on a two-wheeler to identify stakeholders.
- Proactive Research: Identify potential clients and market opportunities through various channels, ensuring a consistent pipeline of new business, and utilize existing leads for outreach.
2. Client Engagement and Presentation
- Relationship Management: Conduct outreach via phone, email, and in-person meetings to educate architects and designers about Source Corp India’s services.
- Sales Presentations: Conduct professional brand presentations to potential clients (materials will be provided).
- Corporate Networking: Attend architect networking events whenever possible to collect leads and build relationships within the industry.
3. Sales Execution and Reporting
- KPI Targets: Drive the process to achieve set meeting targets and sales presentations.
- Follow-Up and Documentation: Maintain consistent follow-up with potential clients, documenting every interaction in the company CRM system.
- Regional Expansion: Conduct upcountry visits across Karnataka (approximately 1 day/week) to meet regional industry leaders.
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports on lead generation, client engagement, and market insights for management review.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Education: A Bachelor’s Degree is mandatory. Preference will be given to candidates with degrees in Architecture, Interior Design, BBA/MBA, or Marketing.
- Experience: 3–6 years in business development, sales, or a customer-facing role. Experience in high-end sales, real estate, or luxury building materials is highly preferred.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in English is required for corporate meetings, alongside Kannada/Hindi for site-level coordination.
- Technical Proficiency: High proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with CRM software is strongly preferred.
- Traits: Ability to work independently with high initiative and self-motivation. Must be comfortable with a "feet-on-the-street" sales approach.
- Preference: Female candidates are preferred.
- Mobility: Must own a two-wheeler and have a valid driving license for local site and project visits.
Compensation and Benefits:
Total Compensation Potential: ₹60,000 to ₹90,000 per month.
Fixed Base Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹30,000 (based on experience).
Incentive Structure: Aggressive performance-based incentives for scheduled meetings, client conversions, and final order closures.
Allowances: Comprehensive Travel Allowance (TA) and fuel reimbursement provided for all local and upcountry visits.
