Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad for a Business Development Executive. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, generating leads, managing client accounts, and building strong professional relationships. Daily tasks include market research, developing strategies for business growth, and collaborating with internal teams to meet client needs and organizational goals.
Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities through field visits and networking.
- Visit construction sites, builders, contractors, architects, consultants, and dealers regularly.
- Promote and sell waterproofing chemicals and related construction products.
- Explain product features, applications, and benefits to customers.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and channel partners.
- Identify customer requirements and provide suitable product solutions.
- Conduct product demonstrations and site inspections when required.
- Follow up on inquiries, quotations, and payment collections.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing.
- Coordinate with technical and operations teams for timely service and delivery.
- Prepare daily visit reports and maintain customer records.
Required skills
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Field sales and client handling experience
- Knowledge of construction chemicals or waterproofing products preferred
- Ability to build relationships with contractors and builders
- Good presentation and convincing skills
- Self-motivated and target-driven
- Basic knowledge of MS Office and reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or MBA, Marketing, Commerce,
- Diploma/Civil Engineering background preferred
- 0-2 year experience
- Freshers with strong communication skills can also apply
