Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Executive role based in Bhubaneswar. The Business Development Executive will identify and pursue new business opportunities, including building a strong pipeline through market research, networking, and lead generation. The role involves meeting prospective clients such as dealers, architects, contractors, and furniture manufacturers, presenting Saburi Ply’s product portfolio, and understanding client requirements. The position will be responsible for managing and growing key accounts, negotiating terms, closing deals, and ensuring smooth coordination with internal teams for order fulfillment and customer support. The Executive will also monitor market trends, competitor activities, and sales performance, providing regular reports and insights to support strategic decisions.
Qualifications
- Proven skills in New Business Development and Lead Generation, with the ability to convert prospects into long-term customers.
- Strong Business and Account Management skills to build, maintain, and expand relationships with key clients and channel partners.
- Excellent Communication skills, including clear verbal presentation, negotiation, and professional written communication.
- Experience in building materials, plywood, interiors, or related industries is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently in the field, manage time effectively, and meet sales targets.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred, or equivalent practical experience in sales and business development.
- Comfort with basic digital tools (CRM, spreadsheets, email, messaging apps) for tracking leads and reporting activities.
- Willingness to travel locally and within the region as required for client visits and market development.
