We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a proven track record of developing and maintaining strong relationships with premium architects and designers. This role is a hands-on position, focused on individual sales contributions rather than team management. You will be responsible for driving sales and market share by getting our exclusive range of high-end tiles specified in prestigious commercial and residential projects. This role requires a blend of sales acumen, technical product knowledge, and a deep understanding of the architectural and design process.
KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Architect & Designer Engagement:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with leading architects and interior designers in the region.
- Drive product specifications in both retail and commercial projects through effective engagement and influence.
- Product Promotion:
- Conduct product presentations and design consultations for architects and designers to get company's products specified.
- Ensure a comprehensive understanding of company's product portfolio and communicate its unique features and benefits.
- IIID Collaboration:
- Actively engage with the regional IIID (Indian Institute of Interior Designers).
- Represent company at IIID events and seminars to contribute to the brand's visibility within the design community.
- Sales & Revenue Growth:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve individual sales targets and maximize revenue.
- Market Analysis:
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, new product launches, and competitor activities to inform sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
- Reporting:
- Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, project pipeline, and market feedback to senior management.
DESIRED SKILLS:
- Exceptional Communication:Outstanding interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strategic Thinking:Ability to develop and execute long-term strategic account plans.
- Technical Knowledge: A solid understanding of technical specifications.
- Industry Acumen:Strong knowledge of the architectural and interior design process, as well as an understanding of the premium building materials market.
- CRM Proficiency:Experience with CRM software like ZOHO or similar tools is a must.
- Education:Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Architecture, or a related field.
- Experience:Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales or business development, with a strong focus on architects and designers within the building materials or premium interiors industry. Experience with tile products is highly preferred.
Salary up to 10 LPA based on experience and current salary.
