Role Description
• Drive sales and market expansion for DURACRETE, Mero Plus, Verde Plus, and construction chemicals.
• Focus on lead generation, conversion, and revenue growth across West Bengal (South Bengal focus).
• Field-driven role requiring strong market intelligence and execution capability.
Key Responsibilities
• Generate leads through field visits, networks, and referrals.
• Identify new markets and opportunities for product penetration.
• Execute sales from prospecting to closure.
• Develop go-to-market strategies for each product line.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, builders, and engineers.
• Track competitor activity, pricing trends, and project pipelines.
• Coordinate with the engineering team for demos and execution handover.
Key KPIs
• Monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
• Number of qualified leads generated.
• Conversion ratio from lead to deal.
• New market and client acquisition.
• Number of site visits and meetings.
• Repeat business from clients.
Candidate Profile
• 1–5 years of experience in sales/business development (construction preferred).
• Strong field sales mindset and willingness to travel.
• High market awareness and intelligence.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and closing ability.
• Ability to independently identify opportunities.
Preferred Background
• Civil engineering or construction background.
• Existing network with contractors or builders.
• Experience in construction materials or chemicals.
Compensation Structure
• Performance-driven model.
• Includes fixed component and percentage-based incentive on project value.
Location
• West Bengal (primary focus on South Bengal).
• Requires frequent field travel.
Application Process
This is a full-time role for a business development executive. The position is based on-site in Kolkata. The selected candidate will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, managing client accounts, generating leads, and building strong relationships with stakeholders. Other responsibilities include preparing presentations, negotiating contracts, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business growth objectives.
