Jr. Business Development Executive — Upwork
Experience: 1–2 Years
Employment Type: Full-Time
Timings: 11 AM - 8 PM
Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated Business Development Executive with at least 1 year of hands-on Upwork experience. You will focus on lead follow-ups, pipeline management, and client communication on Upwork for our website and mobile app development services. Bidding is not part of this role.
Must-Have Requirements
Minimum 1 year of active Upwork experience — non-negotiableHands-on with Upwork lead management, client communication, and follow-upsBasic understanding of website development services (WordPress, custom web development)Basic understanding of mobile app development services (iOS, Android, Flutter or similar)Strong written English for client-facing communicationComfortable managing daily follow-ups and submitting structured reports
Key Responsibilities
Manage and follow up with active leads and prospects on UpworkMaintain ongoing client conversations and ensure timely responsesTrack lead status — active, passive, hold, and closed dealsCoordinate with internal team to understand project scope and pitch accordinglySubmit structured end-of-day reports on follow-ups sent, responses received, and deal status
