Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Executive role based in Pune City. The Business Development Executive will identify and qualify new business opportunities, generate leads through multiple channels, and nurture prospects through consistent follow-up. The role involves conducting client meetings, understanding business needs, presenting tailored consulting solutions, and supporting proposal creation and contract closure. The position also includes maintaining and growing existing accounts, coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely delivery, and tracking sales pipelines and performance metrics. The selected candidate will be expected to maintain accurate records in CRM tools, provide regular market and competitor feedback, and support local marketing or networking initiatives to strengthen the company’s presence in Pune.
Qualifications
- Proven skills in New Business Development and Lead Generation, including prospecting, qualification, and pipeline management.
- Strong Business acumen with the ability to understand client challenges, propose relevant consulting solutions, and support negotiation and deal closure.
- Effective Communication skills, including clear verbal communication, professional writing, and confident presentation abilities.
- Experience in Account Management, with a focus on relationship building, retention, and upselling or cross-selling services.
- Relevant experience in B2B sales, consulting, or professional services; familiarity with startups or SMEs is an advantage.
- Comfort working with CRM and productivity tools, and using data to track performance and refine strategies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work on-site in Pune City, manage time independently, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
