The company has recently acquired the assets of Arzooo, a retail-tech start-up in the Consumer Durables space. The company owns exclusive assets like the Retail B2B tech marketplace for Consumer Durables, B2C marketplace-GoStor and a brand-NU in the consumer durables category. The key investors in the company are Moksha Group, which is a prominent Mumbai-based business house operating multiple businesses in the Fintech, Distribution and Supply chain domains. The start-up is backed by prominent investors such as Trifecta Capital, Alteria Capital and CapSave Ventures among others. The vision of the company is to become the largest integrated partner in the Consumer Durables and Electronics space in India, by connecting supply and demand partners and leveraging technology. With the help of digital tools and supply chain solutions, we aim to offer the widest range of consumer durables, small appliances and consumer electronics products of top Indian and international brands as well as own brand Nu to offline and online retail partners across entire India. Role Overview The Business Development Executive will play a crucial role in driving Arzooo's growth in the large appliances sector (e.g., LED TVs, refrigerators, washing machines, ACs, and small appliances). The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in sales and market development to expand Arzooo's footprint and build strong relationships with retailers. Key Responsibilities 1. Sales Drive: o Visit and engage with pre-mapped key retailers to drive sales. o Ensure consistent business growth by meeting sales targets. 2. Dealer Onboarding: o Identify and onboard new retailers in the market or assigned territory. o Provide necessary support to retailers for a seamless onboarding experience. 3. Private Label Sales: o Pitch and promote Arzooo's private-label large appliance products. o Educate retailers about product features and benefits. 4. Business Development: o Identify opportunities for growth based on market potential and cross-sell opportunities. o Develop strategies to enhance Arzooo’s market presence. 5. Relationship Support: o Maintain and strengthen relationships with key accounts in designated districts. o Address retailer queries and provide solutions to ensure satisfaction. Qualifications & Requirements • Experience: o 3 to 5 years of proven experience in business development, specifically in the appliances sector. o Familiarity with large appliances (TVs, refrigerators, washing machines & ACs) is mandatory. • Skills: o Strong sales and negotiation skills. o Ability to identify and act on growth opportunities in the local market. • Travel Willingness: o Must be open to field sales and traveling within a 150–200 km radius. • Local Market Knowledge: o Prior experience working in the required location(s) with an understanding of the local retail ecosystem is preferred. o Experience with marketplace entities will be preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree 3+ years in sales industry Experience in full sales cycle including deal closing Demonstrated sales success Strong negotiation skills Strong communication and presentation skills CRM experience is preferred Click on Apply to know more.
