Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Manager role based in Bengaluru. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and developing strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets. Additionally, this role involves conducting market analysis, preparing proposals and presentations, and negotiating contracts. The Manager will collaborate with internal teams to ensure client needs are met and will represent McD BERL at industry events to promote our mission of sustainability.
Qualifications
- Strong business development and sales skills, including lead generation, client relationship management, and contract negotiation
- Proficiency in communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for building and maintaining client relationships
- Experience with market analysis, strategy development, and achieving revenue targets
- Familiarity with sustainability concepts and certifications such as IGBC, USGBC LEED, EDGE, GRIHA, or WELL is a plus
- Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate across departments
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience in the built environment, real estate, or sustainable design industries is a strong advantage
