Job Title: Business Development Executive – US IT Staffing

About the Role :
We are looking for a results-driven Business Development Executive with hands-on experience in the IT software services and staff augmentation industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of generating qualified leads, building client pipelines, and closing deals in B2B IT services. This is a work-fromoffice role based out of our Trichy office, requiring someone who thrives in a target-oriented sales environment and understands the nuances of IT staffing and managed services sales.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation & Prospecting:
› Identify, research, and qualify new business opportunities in IT software services and staff augmentation segments.
› Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects through outbound channels — cold calling, LinkedIn outreach, email campaigns, and industry networking.
› Leverage tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, ZoomInfo, or similar platforms to source decision-maker contacts.
› Execute multi-touch outreach cadences targeting IT managers, HR heads, procurement leaders, and C -level executives.
Business Development & Client Acquisition:
› Drive end-to-end business development — from first contact through proposal, negotiation, and deal closure.
› Present company capabilities, service offerings, and value propositions to potential clients through calls, virtual demos, and in-person meetings.
› Develop and submit tailored proposals, rate cards, and statements of work (SOW) in coordination with delivery/technical teams.
› Work on staffing contracts for contract staffing, contract-to-hire, and permanent placement models.
Client Relationship Management:
› Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
› Act as the primary point of contact for clients during the pre-sales and onboarding phase.
› Collaborate with the delivery team to ensure smooth handoff and client satisfaction post-deal closure.
› Track client requirements, renewal timelines, and feedback to improve retention and account growth.
Market Research & Reporting:
› Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and market dynamics in the IT services and staffing space.
› Maintain accurate CRM records of all lead activities, pipeline status, and deal progress.
› Report weekly/monthly on lead metrics, conversion rates, and revenue pipeline to management.
› Contribute to the development of BD strategies, marketing campaigns, and go-to-market plans.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Education:
› Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, IT, or any related field.
› MBA in Marketing or Sales is an added advantage.
Experience:
› 2 to 4 years of experience exclusively in Business Development or Lead Generation within the IT software services and/or staff augmentation industry.
› Demonstrated success in B2B sales with measurable targets and consistent performance.
› Prior experience handling clients across domestic (India) and/or international markets (US, UK, APAC) is preferred.
Domain Knowledge
› Strong understanding of IT staffing models — Contract, Contract-to-Hire (C2H), and permanent staffing.
› Familiarity with IT software service offerings such as custom development, product engineering, QA, cloud, data, or digital transformation services.
› Knowledge of technology skill sets (Java, .NET, Python, DevOps, SAP, Salesforce, etc.) to engage meaningfully with technical clients.
› Understanding of staffing vendor ecosystems, RPO, MSP/VMS environments is a plus.
Sales & Communication Skills
› Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; Tamil proficiency is an added advantage for local client engagement.
› Strong cold-calling, objection-handling, and consultative selling skills.
› Ability to craft compelling email pitches, capability decks, and proposals.
› Proficiency in CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho CRM, or equivalent).
› Experience using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo.io, Hunter.io, or similar prospecting tools.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
› Experience with US staffing processes — W2, Corp-to-Corp (C2C), 1099 hiring models.
› Prior exposure to job boards such as Dice, Monster, Naukri, or LinkedIn Recruiter.
› Ability to work in overlap hours if handling international clients (US shift: 6:00 PM – 3:00 AM IST).
› Basic understanding of SLAs, staffing contracts, and rate negotiation.
› Knowledge of ATS platforms (Bullhorn, JobDiva, or similar).
