Role Description
This is a full time job with office location in Chennai and travel to client locations as required. The Business Development Executive will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, generating leads, and managing client accounts. The role also involves effective communication with clients and internal teams to meet business goals and foster long-term relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and engage potential industrial clients (textile, pharma, chemical, food, etc.)
- Develop leads through site visits, cold outreach, networking, and referrals
- Coordinate projects, proposals, and techno-commercial discussions
- Build and maintain relationships with consultants, distributors and regulators
- Represent JSP Enviro at exhibitions, conferences, and client meetings
- Collect market intelligence and competitor insights
Qualifications- Background in Engineering / Environmental Science / Management / Marketing
- 3-5 years experience in similar roles
- Understanding of industrial wastewater treatment is a strong advantage
- Good communication skills (English, Tamil and Hindi)
- Comfortable with site visits, client discussions, and technical concepts
- Self-starter mindset with strong follow-up skills
