Role Description
The role is responsible for driving revenue growth and market expansion for solar inverters and Adani Solar DCR/Non-DCR modules within the assigned territory. It involves developing and managing strong relationships with EPCs, developers, installers, and channel partners while identifying new business opportunities across residential, commercial & industrial (C&I), and government segments.
The position requires a balance of sales execution, market intelligence, and technical understanding to support customers in product selection, close deals effectively, and ensure smooth order execution and collections. Additionally, the role plays a key part in enhancing brand visibility, tracking market trends, and contributing to overall business strategy.
1. Sales & Business Development
- Drive sales of solar inverters and Adani Solar DCR / Non-DCR modules in the
assigned territory
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets (volume & value)
- Identify and develop new business opportunities with EPCs, developers, and installers
- Manage enquiries, negotiations, pricing discussions, and ensure order closures
2. Channel & Partner Development
- Appoint, manage, and expand channel partners / distributors in the region
3. Market Expansion & Strategy
- Expand presence across residential, C&I, and government/DCR projects
- Track competitor activities, pricing trends, and market movements
4. Technical & Product Support
- Conduct product presentations, demos, and technical discussions
5. Order Management & Coordination
- Coordinate internally for order processing, dispatch, and delivery
6. Branding & Marketing Support
- Support exhibitions, dealer meets, roadshows, and marketing activities
Qualifications
- MBA / B-Tech / Other
- Proven expertise in New Business Development and Lead Generation
- Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong in sales, negotiation, and closing deals
