About the Role
We are hiring dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Executives for a fast-growing FinTech organization specializing in payment solutions, merchant onboarding, and financial technology services. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in the FinTech or payments industry with strong business development and client acquisition skills.
Experience Required
- Minimum 1β3 years of experience in the FinTech or Payment Industry
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
- Generate new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and market research
- Identify and acquire merchants and business clients for payment solutions and financial products
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to closure
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
Lead Generation
Generate quality leads using platforms such as:
- LinkedIn
- Lusha
- Hunter.io
- Other business databases and online tools
Client Relationship Management
- Handle Relationship Manager (RM) responsibilities for assigned clients and merchants
- Build and maintain strong long-term client relationships
- Coordinate merchant onboarding and resolve client issues efficiently
Product & Industry Knowledge
- Explain payment products and services to prospective clients
- Stay updated with FinTech industry trends and competitor activities
- Coordinate with internal Tech, Operations, and Partnerships teams for successful onboarding
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree or MBA in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field
- Strong understanding of:
- Payment Gateways
- Payment Aggregators
- Merchant Acquiring
- UPI, Cards, Net Banking & Wallets
- Payment Infrastructure & Settlement Processes
- Merchant Onboarding & KYC
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Hands-on experience with CRM tools, LinkedIn, Lusha, and Hunter.io
- Self-motivated and target-driven mindset
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience with payment gateways, banks, payment aggregators, or FinTech companies
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets
- Strong relationship management and customer handling skills
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
