We are looking for a result-oriented Business Development Executive responsible for identifying leads in NGO & CSR segment and converting them into B2B sales opportunities for agriculture products The role focuses purely on lead generation, client acquisition, and revenue generation, not on proposal writing or CSR project execution.
Role and Responsibilities
- Identify and approach NGOs, CSR teams, and institutional clients for product sales
- Pitch and sell agriculture products (e.g., sustainable agri inputs like Fasal Amrit)
- Generate leads through cold calling, networking, field visits, and references
- Own the complete sales cycle from lead identification to closure in the NGO & CSR segment
- Achieve defined and aggressive sales targets with strong focus on lead conversion and revenue generation
- Share regular updates on sales performance, closures, pipeline status, and client feedback
- Build and maintain strong relationships with NGO and CSR stakeholders
- Conduct product demos, meetings, and follow-ups & Ensure repeat business and long-term partnerships
- Maintain records and reports from field visits, surveys, or campaign outcomes
- Maintain sales pipeline and track conversions & Share regular updates on targets, closures, and client feedback
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Degree in Marketing, Agriculture, Business, Rural Management, or a related field
- Willingness to travel or conduct fieldwork when required
- Experience in working with NGO/CSR or Experience in B2B sales / institutional sales / agri sales
- Comfortable with field travel and client meetings
- Good understanding of agriculture terminology.
Preferred Skills
- Basic knowledge of MS Office
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Enthusiastic, eager to learn, and comfortable with both desk and field work
