About the Role
Ecomm Lab is looking for a driven and result-oriented Business Development Executive (BDE) with hands-on experience in eCommerce and D2C brands. This role focuses on identifying growth opportunities, generating leads, and building strong client relationships within the digital commerce ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the eCommerce & D2C space
- Generate qualified leads through outbound/inbound strategies
- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and growth areas
- Schedule and lead client meetings, pitches, and presentations
- Understand client requirements and propose tailored digital solutions
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, design, tech) for seamless execution
- Manage client accounts and ensure long-term engagement
- Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets and contribute to revenue growth
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Business Development, preferably with eCommerce/D2C brands
- Strong understanding of performance marketing, Shopify, marketplaces, and digital ecosystems
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Proven track record in lead generation and closing deals
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated, proactive, and target-driven mindset
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- Prior experience working with D2C brands or digital agencies is highly preferred
