About the RoleWe are hiring a Business Development Executive to drive growth in our food ingredients business across India.
This is a hands-on, end-to-end role covering customer development, application coordination, and commercial execution, with exposure to both domestic and international markets.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and develop new business opportunities in food, nutraceutical, and dairy segments
- Manage the full sales cycle: lead generation → sampling → trials → deal closure
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships
- Coordinate with internal teams for:
- Samples and trials
- Application/formulation support
- Documentation and regulatory requirements
- Order execution
- Support and manage key accounts
- Travel across India for customer meetings
- Represent the company at industry exhibitions:
- Lead generation as a visitor
- Customer interaction at company booths
- Maintain structured reports:
- Sales pipeline
- Customer visit reports
- Exhibition reports
- Track market trends, pricing, and competitor activity
- Liaise with domestic and international principals when required
Who Should Apply- 0–5 years of experience in sales / business development (B2B preferred)
- Freshers with strong intent to build a career in sales are welcome
- Background in Food Technology / Pharma / Life Sciences preferred
- Strong communication skills (English required)
- Ability to build relationships and follow through consistently
- Comfortable with travel and field work
- Basic proficiency in Excel, email, and digital tools
