Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Executive to identify new business opportunities, build strong client relationships, and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a passion for technology and digital marketing, with a knack for turning prospects into long-term partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities through outbound calls, emails, LinkedIn, and networking
- Generate leads and build a strong sales pipeline targeting businesses in need of digital solutions
- Understand client requirements and present tailored digital marketing and technology solutions
- Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and service demos
- Coordinate with technical and delivery teams to ensure seamless client onboarding
- Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities in CRM tools
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and digital industry developments
- Represent Deft Innovations at industry events, trade shows, and networking meets
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field
- 1–3 years of experience in business development, sales, or client servicing
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Malayalam
- Proficiency in tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, similar CRM platforms
- Self-motivated with excellent negotiation and persuasion skills
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines simultaneously
Preferred / Nice to Have
- ⭐ Prior experience in a Digital Marketing agency or company is a strong advantage
- ⭐ Understanding of digital marketing services — SEO, SEM, Social Media Marketing, PPC, Content Marketing, Email Campaigns
- ⭐ Ability to pitch digital marketing solutions to SMEs, startups, and corporates
- Prior experience selling IT services, SaaS products, or web/app development services
- Existing client network in Kerala or across India
- Familiarity with B2B sales processes
