Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Executive role based in Mumbai. The Business Development Executive will engage directly with customers, present jewellery collections, explain product features, and support customers in selecting suitable pieces. The role includes managing inquiries, preparing quotations, processing orders, and ensuring timely follow-up to close sales. The Business Development Executive will maintain relationships with existing clients, identify new business opportunities, and support promotional activities and in-store events. Daily responsibilities also include maintaining accurate sales records, coordinating with production and inventory teams, and providing feedback on customer preferences and market trends.
Qualifications
- Strong sales and customer relationship skills, including the ability to understand customer needs and close sales effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in spoken and written English; knowledge of local languages is an advantage.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with sales or CRM software to manage leads and maintain records.
- Knowledge of jewellery products, materials, and current market trends; prior experience in jewellery or luxury retail is highly beneficial.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, on-site retail or showroom environment, with strong attention to detail and a professional presentation.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and to adapt to changing customer demands and business priorities.
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
