Job Title: BDE/Lead Gen – UK SME Businesses

Key Responsibilities
- Identify and research UK-based small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) that require bookkeeping, VAT, payroll, and tax services.
- Generate B2C leads by targeting business owners, directors, and decision-makers.
- Use platforms such as LinkedIn, Google search, company directories, and business databases to identify prospects.
- Build and maintain a database of qualified UK prospects.
- Conduct email outreach, LinkedIn messaging, and follow-ups to initiate conversations.
- Qualify leads based on business size, accounting needs, and outsourcing potential.
- Schedule introductory calls or meetings for the sales team with interested prospects.
- Maintain lead activity and pipeline updates in CRM or lead tracking tools.
- Support the sales team with market research on UK SME sectors.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2+ years experience in lead generation, inside sales, or business development.
- Experience working with international markets (UK preferred).
- Strong online research and prospecting skills.
- Experience using LinkedIn, email outreach, and lead databases.
- Basic understanding of SME business operations or professional services.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in lead generation for accounting, financial services, or outsourcing firms.
- Familiarity with tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, Lusha, Hunter, etc.
- Understanding of UK SME landscape.
