You are here to get AM:PM's kiosks into colleges, housing societies, co-working spaces, malls, transit hubs, and anywhere a sharp, curious audience spends time. You find the right institution. You get to the right decision-maker. You close the deal.
You understand that digital news content is not just a media product. It is a utility for communities that want to stay informed fast. You know how to make that case to a college principal, a society secretary, a facility manager, and a brand head. And you know the pitch is different for all four.

AM:PM is a VC-backed news platform built for short-form video, reels, and fast threads, for Gen Z and millennials who want to stay informed without sitting through a panel of five people agreeing with each other for 40 minutes. We go deep without going slow. We understand internet culture because we live in it, not because we read a report about it.
Why this role matters
AM:PM is building physical touchpoints for digital-first news through kiosks in high-footfall, high-relevance spaces. The right placement puts AM:PM in front of thousands of people who have never opened the app. The wrong placement is a kiosk nobody looks at. You are the person who knows the difference, finds the right spots, builds the relationships, and makes sure every installation is active and worth renewing.
What you will own
- Identify and prioritise high-value locations across colleges, residential societies, co-working spaces, transit hubs, libraries, and community spaces where AM:PM's audience lives and moves
- Build a pipeline of institutional partners including principals, facility managers, society heads, campus coordinators, and property managers, and move them from first contact to signed agreement
- Own the outreach, pitch, negotiation, and deal closure for every partnership without needing someone to handhold the process
- Structure deal terms that work for both sides, including revenue share, MoU drafts, barter arrangements, co-promotion, and event integrations where relevant
- Coordinate kiosk installation, onboarding, and go-live with the internal team and the partner's on-ground contact so nothing gets stuck after the deal is signed
- Maintain a live BD tracker with partner names, locations, deal status, terms, key contacts, renewal dates, and follow-up notes
- Build relationships that go beyond the first install, including renewals, expansions to multiple locations, and co-branded activations that make AM:PM visible at scale
- Work with the content and editorial team to understand what is live on the kiosk so you can pitch it credibly and keep partners confident in what they are hosting
Who you are
- 1 to 3 years of experience in business development, institutional sales, campus partnerships, field sales, or B2B outreach, ideally in media, edtech, fintech, or consumer-facing startups
- You have closed deals on your own, not just supported someone else's pipeline
- You know how to navigate institutional decision-making, including who has the authority, who is the blocker, and who you actually need to convince
- You write sharp, professional outreach and can adapt your tone from a college admin office to a corporate facility head
- You are organised, persistent, comfortable with rejection, and do not mistake activity for output
- Based in Mumbai or willing to relocate within commutable distance
This is a 0-to-1 journey. There is no existing partner network to inherit. You will build it from the first cold call. Every kiosk that goes live, every society that puts AM:PM in their lobby, every college that installs it in their common area is yours.
