Role Description
The Business Development Executive will play a key role in driving revenue growth by engaging with prospective travellers and converting leads into confirmed bookings for Alpha Adventures. The role involves handling daily assigned leads, understanding client requirements, and recommending suitable travel experiences aligned with their interests.
Alongside lead conversion, the Executive will be responsible for building and maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring a smooth consultation experience from initial inquiry through to booking closure. The position also includes coordinating with the marketing team to improve lead quality, tracking conversion metrics, and contributing to strategies that strengthen overall sales performance.
Importantly, the role offers hands-on exposure beyond sales, with opportunities to lead treks and trips. This allows individuals to engage directly with travellers on the ground, develop practical leadership skills, and gain a deeper understanding of the experiences they promote.
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Nagpur.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in any field (preference for candidates with backgrounds in travel, hospitality, business, or related disciplines)
- 0–3 years of experience in sales, travel consulting, or client-facing roles (freshers with strong communication skills may also be considered)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-making
- A genuine interest in travel, outdoor experiences, and adventure activities
- Basic understanding of sales processes, lead handling, and customer conversion
- Ability to work in a target-driven environment while maintaining a consultative approach with clients
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail for managing multiple leads and follow-ups
- Familiarity with tools such as Excel, CRM systems, or WhatsApp Business is an added advantage
