We're looking for a driven Business Development Executive who can uncover new revenue streams, build enduring client relationships, and help accelerate our sales pipeline. Job Responsibilities
- Source and qualify new business leads across Upwork, LinkedIn, and other online channels
- Design and execute outbound campaigns that resonate with target audiences
- Conduct discovery calls, product demos, and solution-oriented presentations
- Draft compelling proposals, negotiate terms, and finalize contracts
- Own the client relationship end-to-end, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business
- Log all activities in the CRM, maintaining clean, accurate data for pipeline reporting
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to refine positioning and strategy
- Leverage AI tools such as ChatGPT for research, outreach personalization, and content creation
- Coordinate with delivery and project teams to keep engagements on track
- Contribute ideas to improve sales playbooks, processes, and revenue targets
- Consistently achieve (or surpass) monthly and quarterly quotas.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year in business development, sales, or a related revenue-generating role
- Hands-on experience sourcing leads on Upwork (or comparable freelance marketplaces)
- Proven success with LinkedIn prospecting and social-selling techniques
- Track record of managing full sales cycles and nurturing long-term client partnerships
- Clear, persuasive communicator both spoken and written in English
- Working knowledge of modern sales methodologies and metrics
- Familiarity with AI-based productivity tools (ChatGPT, etc.) in a sales or marketing context
- Basic understanding of software-development terminology and project lifecycles
- Skilled in crafting proposals, pitch decks, and other client-facing collateral
- Strong organization, time-management, and problem-solving abilities
- Self-starter mentality with the flexibility to collaborate across functions
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related discipline preferred; equivalent experience considered.
