Role Description The Business Development Executive – Shilp Wellness is a full-time, on-site role based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. This role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, generating leads, and building strategic relationships with individual guests, corporate clients, and travel partners. Daily activities include prospecting and outreach, conducting sales meetings and resort presentations, managing client accounts, and maintaining a robust sales pipeline. The role also involves coordinating with marketing for campaigns, tracking performance metrics, preparing proposals and commercial offers, and ensuring a high level of client satisfaction and retention. The Business Development Executive collaborates closely with operations and guest services teams to align offerings with client needs and support revenue growth targets.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in New Business Development and Lead Generation to identify, qualify, and convert prospective clients.
- Business and Account Management capabilities to manage relationships, negotiate contracts, and drive repeat business.
- Excellent Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and confident client-facing interaction.
- Proven experience in sales or business development, preferably in hospitality, wellness, luxury resorts, or related industries.
- Ability to work on-site, travel locally as needed, and build networks with corporates, event planners, and travel partners.
- Comfort with CRM tools, basic data analysis, and reporting on sales activities and outcomes.
- Strong interpersonal skills, customer-centric mindset, and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field is preferred.
