Job Overview
We are seeking a high-performing Business Development professional with proven experience in IT services sales to drive revenue growth and market expansion. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of increasing sales, closing high-value deals, and building long-term client relationships across IT services such as Digital Marketing, Software Development, SaaS, ERP/CRM, Cloud, and Automation solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive revenue growth and sales expansion by promoting IT services including:
- Web & Mobile App Development
- Digital Marketing Services
- SaaS Solutions
- ERP / CRM Systems
- Cloud Engineering & Automation Workflows
- Prospect, identify, and qualify potential clients for IT services, resource augmentation, and tech staffing.
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans aligned with company revenue targets.
- Own the end-to-end sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure.
- Generate qualified leads through cold calling, networking, inbound leads, referrals, and market research.
- Convert leads into meetings, demos, proposals, and business discussions with decision-makers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with CXOs, Founders, CIOs, CTOs, and procurement heads.
- Engage with clients from government bodies, BFSI, legal firms, and insurance companies.
- Deliver impactful sales pitches, presentations, and proposals to close deals.
- Collaborate with technical, marketing, legal, finance, and delivery teams to align solutions with client requirements.
- Track sales pipelines, follow-ups, and closures using CRM tools (HubSpot or similar).
- Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market opportunities.
- Participate in requirement gathering, solution scoping, platform analysis, and ensure smooth handover to the client experience team.
- Work cross-functionally to set realistic client expectations and ensure successful deal execution.
Mandatory Requirements
- Proven experience in IT Services sales (Software Development / Digital Marketing / SaaS).
- Demonstrated track record of increasing company revenue and closing deals.
- Strong understanding of IT solutions, project-based sales, and retainer models.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Hands-on experience with CRM systems (HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce, etc.).
- Ability to manage multiple sales pipelines and high-value deals.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in enterprise, B2B, or government sales.
- Knowledge of international markets (US, UK, UAE, APAC).
- Experience in resource augmentation and IT staffing sales.
