Role Overview
We are looking for a results-driven Business Development Executive with 2+ years of experience in EdTech or similar industries, who has a strong background in ticket sales, event sales, and end-to-end deal closing. The ideal candidate is highly target-oriented, confident in client interactions, and skilled at converting leads into revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive revenue growth through ticket sales for events, workshops, and programs
- Handle end-to-end sales cycle: lead generation, pitching, negotiation, and closing
- Convert inbound and outbound leads into paying customers with a high closure rate
- Identify and develop new business opportunities and partnerships
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, institutions, and partners
- Promote and sell EdTech products, learning programs, or event offerings
- Collaborate with marketing teams to optimize lead generation campaigns
- Maintain accurate sales records, pipelines, and forecasts
- Consistently meet and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in Business Development / Sales, preferably in EdTech, Events, or similar domains
- Proven experience in ticket sales, event sales, and revenue generation
- Strong track record of closing deals independently
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
- Familiarity with CRM tools and sales tracking systems is a plus
- High level of ownership, confidence, and result orientation
