Job Summary
We are looking for an aggressive, energetic and highly motivated Business Development Executive who can drive drone motor sales across India.
The candidate will be responsible for identifying drone manufacturers, UAV startups, defense drone developers, agricultural drone companies, government organizations, distributors and system integrators and converting them into long-term customers.
The candidate must be target-oriented and capable of achieving ₹5 Crore annual revenue through direct sales, OEM business development, distributor network creation, government tenders, GeM portal opportunities and online sales channels.
Key Responsibilities
Market Development
- Build a database of 400+ drone companies across India.
- Identify private, government and defense drone manufacturers.
- Continuously generate new customer leads.
- Maintain detailed customer records in CRM.
Customer Acquisition
- Approach drone manufacturers through:
- Calls
- Emails
- LinkedIn
- Industry events
- Exhibitions
- Direct visits
- Schedule technical discussions with prospective customers.
- Generate RFQs and convert them into orders.
Business Development
- Promote Mecwin’s capabilities in:
- Drone Motor Design
- Custom Motor Development
- Local Manufacturing
- Fast Service Support
- Indian Supply Chain
- Develop OEM partnerships.
- Create dealer and distributor networks.
Government & Institutional Sales
- Identify opportunities through:
- GeM Portal
- Government Tenders
- Defense Organizations
- Research Institutions
- PSU Projects
- Coordinate with internal teams for bid submissions.
E-Commerce Growth
- Generate sales through Mecwin’s online platform.
- Promote drone motor products across digital channels.
- Work with marketing teams to increase enquiries and conversions.
Customer Relationship Management
- Maintain regular communication with customers.
- Understand future motor requirements.
- Develop long-term customer relationships.
- Ensure repeat business generation.
Reporting
- Daily sales activity reporting.
- Weekly sales pipeline review.
- Monthly revenue forecasting.
- Competitor and market intelligence reporting.
Revenue Target
Mandatory Annual Revenue Target:
₹5 Crore per Year
The candidate must achieve the revenue target through any combination of:
- Direct OEM Sales
- Drone Manufacturers
- Government Orders
- GeM Portal Orders
- Defense Projects
- E-Commerce Sales
- Channel Partners
- System Integrators
- Export Leads (if generated)
Revenue achievement is the primary KPI for this role.

Mandatory Requirements
- Experience: 2 Years
- Pure Sales / Business Development Background Preferred
- Ready for aggressive field sales
- Comfortable speaking with CXOs, founders and procurement teams
- Ready to travel extensively across India
- Strong passion for sales and customer acquisition
Travel Requirement
Mandatory
- Willing to travel 8–12 days per month.
- Customer visits across India.
- Participation in exhibitions, drone expos and industry events.
- Immediate travel requirement whenever business demands.
