MCI India is looking for a Business Development role for our Events & Conferences business. This position is ideal for professionals experienced in driving business growth, achieving financial targets, developing strong client relationships, securing PCO and Corporate Events opportunities, and collaborating with key stakeholders to expand MCI’s presence across national and local association markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive end-to-end business development, including lead generation, client meetings, proposal creation, negotiation, and deal closure
- Achieve assigned revenue and profitability targets across Corporate, PCO, Pharma, and Associations segments
- Build and grow strong client relationships, focusing on both new client acquisition and expansion of existing accounts
- Develop impactful, client-focused proposals and ensure smooth handover to internal teams for execution
- Identify new business opportunities through market research, industry events, and networking
- Maintain accurate pipeline tracking and reporting through CRM for effective forecasting and planning
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure seamless execution and high client satisfaction
Required Skills:
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- 2+ years in Acquiring new clients, new business acquisitions.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and database management, AI usage, Research tools and expertise in working on presentations and proposals.
