• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Knowledge of Sheet metal parts & Tools development preferred.
• RFQ handling for new development for sheet metal press parts & new tool development.
• Costing for sheet metal press parts and press tools.
• Handling the customer complaint and get it done within given lead time.
• Making time plan for new tool development and modification tools.
• Responsible for line up new development parts till smooth production.
• Responsible for generating the enquiries, visit customers, understand the requirements and making presentation.
• Responsible for line up new development parts till smooth production.
• Handling the customer issues with co-coordination with responsible support team.
• Supervising project activities & handling the project management cycle entailing requirement gathering & final execution of projects.
• Selection of the supplier for tool manufacturer, finalizing the optimum quote, inspection.
• Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions.
• Ability to read and understand the drawings and finalizing the process along with the CFT team.
• About New Product Inquiry, checking "Feasibility" of that component in discussion with CFT Team.
• Generate the technical documents for new projects Develop new parts with new vendors as per Project time line.
• Finalize process sequence of new sheet metal part through stamping operations.
• Develop part and setup welding process and prove the process by JIG/ Fixture adjustment
• Knowledge of machining rates for each process to do the repairing or manufacturing within optimum price.
• Co-ordinating with planning dept.,manufacturing dept.along with Quality dept.to achieve the targeted new product dev., Conducted the Tool‐Buy‐Off at customer End.
• Evaluating the Effective Costing of new Tools. Have taken "HLTO" of various projects, Brief Knowledge of "PPAP" Process.
• Knowledge about PFD, CONTROL PLANS, PFMEA, SPC, MSA
• Knowledge about Tool room & press shop, Quality Standards.
• Responsible for New Product Sample Submission at Customer end, and getting approval from Customer.
• Taking Try‐out of Tools and offering Tooled‐up Samples to QA or VQA at Customer end.
