BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR – INDIA MARKET
Remote | Monday to Friday
Reports to: International Business Development Director
Products: Coffee Power, Coffee Instant
Channel: Distributors, B2B, MT Channel...
Salary: USD 5000-7000 Gross/Month or Negotiable
Job Purpose
- Lead the development of the Indian market in line with the corporation's overall strategy, covering business planning, market research, distribution management, and sales target achievement.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development & Sales Strategy
- Develop short-term and long-term business plans to grow the Indian market in alignment with corporate strategy. Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve AOP sales targets in India. Build and manage a strong, sustainable distribution system across all channels and expand the corporation's customer base. Develop RTM (Route-to-Market) to expand distribution coverage across India. Identify and develop new business opportunities and product distribution across all channels. Cooperate with customers to understand their business needs and objectives. Market Research & Regulatory Study
- Conduct market research to identify competitors, strategic distribution channels, and winning products for the corporation in India. Study the legal framework, import duties, and local business taxes related to distributing coffee products exported from Vietnam to India. Process & Policy
- Ensure MOU and/or Distribution Agreements (DA) are signed in accordance with the yearly sales policy. Control and manage the annual budget effectively. Submit periodic reports (weekly/monthly/quarterly/yearly) and ad-hoc reports accurately and on time. Team Management
- Motivate and train the team to achieve sales performance targets. Ensure personnel stability and retain key talent within the team. Comply with the rules and regulations of the Group.
Requirements:
- Knowledge: Bachelor's degree or above. Strong knowledge of sales operations, distributor network management, and budget planning. Understanding of FMCG market trends, consumer needs, and the Indian market landscape, culture, and consumer behaviour.
- Skills: Business development & market expansion, Leadership & team management, Communication & persuasive selling, Problem-solving & situation handling, Distributor management, Negotiation,
- Fluent English (daily business use)
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a related role. Experience in FMCG, offline/online field sales, and knowledge of Hypermarket & CLSM business models.
- Personal Attributes: Confident, smart, and creative leader. Highly responsible, enthusiastic, disciplined, and committed. Strong sense of integrity and self-respect.
