Raya Fabrics is hiring a New Business Development Representative based out of the Bangalore office. This role is built for a true hunter—earning potential is directly tied to the ability to open doors and close deals. The compensation structure is highly rewarding, designed to pay for every stage of the acquisition process: from securing initial meetings, to landing yardage sample orders, to uncapped commissions and aggressive bonuses as new accounts scale.
The primary objective is to open doors to new denim brands, jeanswear labels, and contemporary apparel manufacturers across Bangalore and surrounding textile hubs.
Who You Are
- You are located in or around Bangalore and are comfortable traveling frequently across key manufacturing and retail hubs.
- You bring at least 5 years of proven New Business Development/B2B Sales experience, ideally in denim fabrics, jeanswear, or heavy woven apparel manufacturing.
- You are a hunter at heart who gets energy from opening doors that have never been opened.
- You take pride in turning a cold introduction into a qualified account that grows over years.
- You believe trade show floors (like Gartex or Denimsandjeans), LinkedIn DMs, and a well-timed wash-swatch request are different forms of the same craft.
- You love consultative selling where the product genuinely fits and the conversation is about helping a denim brand build a scalable, predictable program.
What You Will Do Each Day
- Run consistent outbound prospecting through cold outreach, LinkedIn, and local exhibition networking.
- Coordinate sampling (yardages and wash panels) for qualified prospects and fiercely follow opportunities through to close.
- Build relationships with brand founders, sourcing heads, and procurement teams specifically at jeanswear and casual apparel companies.
- Keep strict CRM discipline so the sales pipeline is always clean and current.
- Collaborate with fabric development and production teams to onboard new accounts smoothly.
- Travel locally for in-person meetings, factory visits, and territory development.
