Role Overview:
We're seeking a highly motivated and growth-oriented Business Development & Client Servicing Executive/Manager to contribute to our expansion. This dynamic role is key to growing our client base, particularly within the corporate and PSU sectors, and ensuring the long-term satisfaction and retention of existing clients. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn and excel at identifying new opportunities, building strong relationships, understanding diverse client needs, and supporting seamless project progression from inception, all while upholding Together Events' standards of excellence and values.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Development & Lead Generation Support:
- Assist in researching and identifying new business opportunities within the corporate and PSU segments.
- Support in initiating contact and building rapport with potential clients and key decision-makers.
- Learn to conduct needs assessments to help propose tailored event, exhibition, and PR solutions.
- Help manage and track the sales pipeline from initial contact to proposal submission.
2. Client Servicing & Account Management:
- Act as a point of contact for assigned clients, assisting in fostering long-term, valuable relationships.
- Support in engaging existing clients to identify potential new business and expand our service offerings.
- Learn to manage client expectations, address concerns, and ensure high satisfaction.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to refine project briefs and ensure deliverables align with objectives.
3. Project Facilitation (NCR-specific, minimal oversight):
- Act as a client liaison for projects initiated under your portfolio.
- Facilitate smooth communication between clients and internal service teams for effective project handover and ongoing client satisfaction.
- For local NCR-based events, provide minimal on-ground support and oversight to ensure alignment with client expectations.
4. Proposal Development & Presentation Support:
- Assist in preparing compelling, accurate, and bespoke proposals and presentations.
- Support in presenting proposals to clients, learning to effectively communicate value and assist in negotiations.
5. Data Management & Reporting:
- Meticulously record client interactions, lead statuses, opportunity progressions, and project updates in designated formats.
- Assist in preparing regular reports on sales pipeline status, client engagement, and project progress for the Director.
- Support in coordinating client invoice clearance and ensuring timely payment processing.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience in business development, client servicing, or a related role. Demonstrated experience with IT or PSU clients, is highly preferred.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Event Management, Mass Communication, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Skills:
- Strong Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective client interaction and internal coordination.
- Interpersonal & Learning Agility: Eagerness to build relationships and learn negotiation techniques.
- Organized & Detail-Oriented: Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Tech Savvy: Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint). Familiarity with CRM or sales tracking tools is a plus.
- Industry Interest: A genuine interest in the event, exhibition, or PR industry is a significant advantage.
