Job Description
A n origination and Sales role at AFII varies based on the needs of the client and the level of experience a
person brings to the organisation.
Roles and Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Identify potential clients in the target market and complete appropriate research on the prospective client’s business and equipment needs
- Develop relationships with prospective clients, while maintaining existing client relationships
- Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
- Prepare proposals for current and prospective clients
- Negotiate contract terms with clients and communicate terms to stakeholders
- Collaborating with seniors on sales goals, planning, and forecasting; maintaining short and long-term business development plans.
- Creating informative presentations; presenting and delivering information to potential clients at client meetings, industry exhibits, trade shows, and conferences.
- Prepare, maintain & update MIS Reports on Daily, Weekly, & Monthly metrics.
- Developing growth strategies and plans.
- Having an in-depth knowledge of business products and value proposition
- Protects the organisation’s value by keeping information confidential.
- Able to multi-task, prioritise, and manage time effectively.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, analytical thinking, task-focused, and presentation Skill.
- Responsibility – awareness and understanding of risks (conduct, reputational, financial, etc.) and act responsibly in line with AFII Group Values, Code of Conduct, and other
- applicable rules & regulations.
- To have a good understanding of our business products, processes and operations, and
- remain up to date on industry news
- Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in related field.
- MBA- Sales & Marketing will be added advantage.
- Demonstrated achievement in B2B sales
- excellent verbal and written communication skills, including facilitation of group presentations.
- Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel).
- Innovation and problem-solving skills that include the ability to develop and propose solutions to clients
