Business Development Associate - Sales Executive
Remote | Full-Time |
₹2,00,000 – ₹3,60,000 CTC + Performance Incentive | (Negotiable for the right candidate)

Not a coordination role. Not a marketing support role.
You will be responsible for building Kathputlee's client pipeline from the ground up — finding the right brands, getting them on a call, understanding what they need, and driving them toward a decision.
If you are looking for a role where someone hands you leads and a script, this is not it.

What Kathputlee does
Kathputlee Arts & Films is a brand content and production company. We make things brands use to grow — performance video ads, UGC creator content, brand films, and long-format branded content.
We work with brands that need their content to do something — not just look good. Our work lives on Instagram, YouTube, Meta ad campaigns, and wherever the brand's audience is paying attention.
We are a small, senior team. We move fast. We do not have layers.
What you will own
· Identifying and reaching out to potential clients across brand categories — D2C, FMCG, startups, mid-size companies looking to grow through content
· Running discovery conversations — understanding what a brand actually needs, not just what they say they need
· Qualifying leads and building a pipeline that the team can act on
· Cold Calling Leads , and handle initial queries , before a strategist or creative team
· Coordinating brief preparation when a client is ready to move
· Maintaining CRM discipline — every lead, every follow-up, every update tracked
· LinkedIn outreach — building Kathputlee's presence in the right rooms
· As you grow: supporting pitch decks, attending client meetings, eventually closing independently
You will report directly to our Senior BD Lead. Our Founder will pull you into strategic assignments when the work calls for it.
What we are looking for
Experience is not the filter. Instinct is.
We will consider freshers. We will consider 0–5 year profiles.
We will not consider people who need to be pushed to follow up.
The signals we are looking for:
· You have sold something in your life — formally or informally. A freelance project, a sponsorship, a deal of any kind. You know what it feels like to close.
· You are commercially curious. You watch brands, notice campaigns, wonder why things work — not because someone told you to.
· You are comfortable on calls with people who do not know you yet. You do not need a script to start a conversation.
· You understand — or are actively learning — what performance marketing, UGC content, and brand films mean and why brands spend on them.
· You are the kind of person who finds 10 ways to follow up before deciding a lead is dead.
Freshers are welcome — but only if you can show us sales DNA in the form.
Not willing to learn. Actual instinct.
What this is not
· This is not a digital marketing execution role
· This is not a content creation role
· This is not a role where average performance is acceptable
The incentive structure
Fixed salary: ₹2,00,000 – ₹3,20,000 CTC per annum
Performance incentive: Unlocks after minimum KPI criteria are met. Percentage of deal value on every closed deal above threshold. Tiered — the better you close, the more you earn.
The incentive is real. It is designed for someone who intends to close.
